No signal from my laptop to Plasma tv using VGA & HDmi cable? - hdmi to vga

Hello,

I bought a VGA cable HDMI to watch movies on my plasma with my laptop to play videos.

I have the VGA cable to the back of my laptop and the HDMI connection to my plasma. However, the television says "no signal" and my computer does not seem to realize that in (usually a driver is installed and connected)

Who knows how I do this?
